Farewell to Sarah Ewing  (July 2014)

The NYTB congratulates Bandswoman Sarah Ewing on her marriage to German Salvationist Ruben Schmidt. The couple had a ceremony in Germany on May 19, and recently one in Canada which took place at Peterborough Citadel, on Saturday, July 12. It is also with mixed feelings that we have to say goodbye as Sarah will be moving to Germany where she and Ruben will soldier at Solingen Corps. We pray Gods blessing for Ruben and Sarah as they begin their new life together.

It’s a town of about 14,000 souls, and is one of those idyllic places that seems too good to be true. Each year the town hosts the above mentioned festival. [read more...]
